Programs

To All our Benefactors, Friends, and Colleagues in the Sector

April 27, 2010

We (NOVA-CBM) are pleased to provide you with an update --- not just on the numbers of persons with disability (PWDs) who have passed through our doors at the NOVA-CBM Foundation ICT Training Center, but more relevantly, with specific success stories about PWDs who we have trained and are now gainfully employed.

On our staff, we have people like Cromwell Taduran, who has Cerebral Palsy (CP) and started out with us as a Technical Staff Trainee. After a short stint, we had him train and undergo the Medical Transcription Training Program with Total Transcriptions Solutions, Inc. After qualifying, under the tutelage of the Foundation, he pioneered its Work-At-Home Program. He is now Training Manager of the NOVA-CBM ICT Training Center. Significantly, the Training Center is now completely

managed by PWDs except for the interpreter who happens to be the mother of a hearing impaired child.
