Congratulations to the winners of The Nova Foundation 1st Charity Poker Tournament! First of all, we would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all those who joined and participated in the event. The tournament, which was held last July 15, 2006 at the Airport Casino Filipino, NAIA Road, Sucat, Parañaque City, was well attended by the its Board of Trustees, friends and supporters. There were celebrity personalities who graced the occasion, among them were Alessandra da Rossi, Haji Alejandro, John Estrada, to name a few. There were walk-in participants/players who despite being informed that there were no cash prizes, still joined knowing that it’s for a good cause. Everyone had their share of thrill and excitement while the game progressed. Prizes were raffled out and a special prize was given to the person with the most re-buys. Guests/players were asking if there would be a next one. From the feedback that we got, they were suggesting that we do it on a regular basis, maybe every quarter. Well, let’s wait for what the Board has to say. Again, Congratulations! to the winners and we hope to see you again in the next tournament! |
