NOVA Foundation Joins the Bishops-Businessmen Conference (BBC) In A Bid To Open New Employment Opportunities in the Private Sector

Upon the Foundation’s joining up the BBC, the BBC for the first time has created a cluster specifically tasked to advocate for the employment of the differently abled especially in the private sector. The approach of the cluster is to convince employers to look at the ability, and not the disability, as basis for hiring the disabled.

NOVA intends to advocate with local groups of employers such as the FINEX, the Makati Business Club and the Employers’ Confederation of the Phils. for them to hire the differently abled. In so doing, new and better employment opportunities may open up even for forthcoming generations.
