About Us
Funding
The start-up fund was generated through contributions of the organizing members. Such amount was immediately applied: for the design and formulation of the training program, and the preparation of the project feasibility studies.
Subsequent funding for implementing its programs to be established will be sourced via: foreign and/or local grants, aid or endowments; and, personal and/or corporate contributions. Its operations and future expansion, however, will be financed through internally-generated contracts and revenues, grants, and/or project financing on the merit of its financial viability.
To sustain its growth beyond individual and corporate membership contribution, grants, aid and endowments, contract execution and/or project financing, the Foundation shall also build up a network of Sponsors for matching specific needs / applications or programs with their equivalent monetary or material contribution.
The NOVA Foundation’s entry, “Work-at-Home Project for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) Through Available Information and Communication Technology”, to the recently concluded World Bank’s Development Innovation in the Marketplace ‘Panibagong Paraan’ was adjudged one of the 50 winners, out of 1,800 proposals. Said project for 25 beneficiaries shall be funded by the Australian AID.
