Mr. Rafael E. Evangelista

Mr. Rafael E. Evangelista

Mr. Rafael E. Evangelista is presently the Philippine Consul to the Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania. He is concurrently the Director of Bancommerce Investment Corporation, and several realty and insurance corporations. He has held numerous directorship positions in various corporations engaged in realty, insurance, education, and legal ventures.

He finished his Master of Laws degree at Georgetown University, Washington D.C., U.S.A., and his Doctor of Laws degree (Honoris Causa) at St. Louis University in Baguio City. Raffy is also a member of various socio-civic, educational, legal, professional and religious organizations, notably the Southeast Asian Institute for the Deaf (SAID) where he is a founding member and former director.

Mr.Manuel V. Agcaoili

Mr. Manuel V. Agcaoili

Mr. Manuel V. Agcaoili is presently Chairman of NOVA Management Corporation and MANVA Holdings, Inc., and concurrently sits on the Board of Directors of several companies involved in advertising, power development, electrical supplies / services, and property management. He was involved in the automotive industry for quite some time and became the highest ranking Filipino officer and an International Service Personnel (ISP) of General Motors. He garnered the Volkswagen International Gold Pin Award for Market and Promotion Planning in 1968 during his stint with DMG, Inc. Thereafter, Noli went on to become involved with various real estate development and marketing companies.

Noli is very involved in civic work being Director of Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Impact Foundation Philippines, and Philippine Foundation for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled. He is presently a board member of the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons.

He is married with 5 children, and has 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Benito R. Araneta

Mr. Benito R. Araneta

Mr. Benito R. Araneta is presently the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Araneta Properties, Inc. and Titan Cement Corporation. He is also concurrently Chairman of the Board and President of Boie, Inc., Philippine American Drug Co. and several realty, real estate development, and communication corporations.

Bomboy completed his B.S. Business Administration from the University of Portland in Oregon, U.S.A.

Mr. Josue A. Camba, Jr

Mr. Josue A. Camba, Jr

Mr. Josue A. Camba, Jr. is presently the President of ValueLife Financial, Inc., the insurance company subsidiary of Exportbank, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Corporate Financial Advisors, Inc., and a Partner in the Strategic Consultancy & management Partnership, Orosa, Romero, Palma-Gil, Camba & Partners, Inc.

He has had extensive involvement in investment banking activities in the Philippines, Hong Kong and the U.S.A. Prior to his overseas stint, he had been with the Bancom Development Corporation and its subsidiaries, where he served in various executive positions.

Josh is a Certified Public Accountant, and he took up further studies at the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. He is married to the former Miriam Quizon, and they have 3 daughters & a granddaughter.

Mr. Jose Antonio Garrovillo, Jr

Mr. Jose Antonio Garrovillo, Jr

Mr. Jose Antonio Garrovillo, Jr. is a member of the APO Hiking Society since 1969 to the present. Being an artist / performer / composer, the group has given numerous concerts from their campus days in Ateneo, and practically all over the world. They have hosted noontime variety shows and have been recipients of various national awards.

Boboy, together with his co-artists, has always espoused the promotion of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and has done much for the interests of Filipino songwriters and artists. Not only that, Boboy continues to this day support worthwhile social causes.

Boboy has been educated from elementary to college at the Ateneo de Manila University, where he finished his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is married to the former Elizabeth Agcaoili, and they have two children.

Mr. Felipe L. Gozon

Mr. Felipe L. Gozon

Mr. Felipe L. Gozon is the Managing Partner of Belo Gozon Asuncion & Lucila Law Office, and is Chairman of the Board / President / CEO of GMA Network, Inc., and Chairman, Vice-Chairman of various companies involved in production and realty, and other non-governmental organizations. He is also Director of corporations having interests in banking and finance, land development and property management.

Mr. Gozon finished his Bachelor of Laws in the top 10 of his graduating class at the University of the Philippines, after which he placed 13th in the Philippine Bar Exams of 1962. He was conferred with the degree of Master of Laws from the Yale University Law School.

He is a lecturer on varied legal subjects, a member of numerous civic organizations, societies and exclusive clubs, and has been bestowed prestigious awards and recognition in the field of law.

Mr. Domingo S. Guevara, Jr

Mr. Domingo S. Guevara, Jr.

Mr. Domingo S. Guevara, Jr. is the President of Guevent Industrial Development Corpo-ration, DMG Motors Group, Inc., among others, Chairman of the Board of Autoliv QB (Phil.) Inc., and Director of numerous family corporations involved in financing, transport and travel, and insurance.

Boy has been educated at the Ateneo de Manila University, and he took up apprenticeship at Volkswagenwerk AG and German language course at the Carl Duisberg Institute in Germany.

He is a past President and Member of the Rotary Club of Manila, and various religious organizations. Boy is the son of the late Domingo and Carmen Guevara. He is married to the former Montserrat Amado and they have five daughters.

Cornelio P. Mapa

Cornelio P. Mapa

With a Strong educational background in Economics and Business, Cornelio P. Mapa is the consummate businessman. Established his career with the prestigious multinational Reynolds Metal Co., Phils. by the time he had left in 1985. He had become Area Sales Director, Foil Division.

He went on over the next 15 years until 1990 to become General Man-ager of Akerlund & Rausing (Philippines), a subsidiary of A & R Lund, Sweden, a leading flexible packaging manufacturer that serviced local and imported consumer products. He was also Director & Senior Vice President of PHIMCO, Industries and General Manager of OTT/Louie (Philippines).

Mr. Mapa further expanded his horizons and took on the position of Regional General Manager & Member, Executive Management of the Asian Regional Office for A&R (Sweden) from1990 to 1995. Also, Managing Director fro Strong Pack Public Co., Ltd. (Bangkok, Thailand), a company owned by A&R (Lund, Sweden) that served the requirements of companies in Thai-land and other neighboring countries.

Ms. Ma.Carmen Agcaoili-Orena

Ms. Ma. Carmen Agcaoili-Oreña

Ms. Ma. Carmen Agcaoili-Oreña is a Partner in the law firm, Agcaoili & Associates, which is principally engaged in banking and corporation law. She also serves as Director and Corporate Secretary of various manufacturing, chemical and holding companies.

Candy took up her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at the De La Salle University, and her Bachelor of Laws at the Ateneo de Manila University, Silver Medalist, having ranked No. 8 of her graduating batch. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1991.

She is married to Atty. Francis Oreña and they have two children.

Mr. Jose Z. Osias

Mr. Jose Z. Osias is presently Chairman and President of Comphil International Holdings, Inc., President of the North Quadrangle Container Services, Inc., and Member of the Board of Directors of Rang-ay Rural Bank, Inc., John Hay Poro Point Development Corporation, Northstar Manpower Services, Inc., and CEEMO Designs, Inc.

Tito has been educated since elementary at the Ateneo de Manila University, where he finished his A.B. Economics and his Masters in Business Management degrees.

He is married to the former Sylvia Marcos, and they have three children.

Mr.Benjamin R. Punongbayan

Mr. Benjamin R. Punongbayan

Mr. Benjamin R. Punongbayan is a leader in the Philippine accounting profession, with over 40 years of experience in public accounting. In 1968, he founded Punongbayan & Araullo (P&A). Today P&A is the third largest public accounting firm in the Philippines, with 15 partners, over 400 staff and four offices around the country.

Ben received the third overall rating in the licensure examinations for certified public accountants, and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton Graduate School in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He has received numerous awards and citations, and has membership in prestigious professional and civic organizations.

Ms. Sonia Roco

Ms. Sonia Roco

Ms. Sonia Roco is the Chairperson of the Metro Manila Community Orchestra, St. Michael’s Hospice Foundation, an active member of the Women in Nation-Building, and is past president of the Senate Spouses Foundation. She had been active in the theatre and arts, and she established the Live and Learn Pre-school at Loyola.

Sonia graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Quezon City with a degree in Liberal Arts and B.S. Education, magna cum laude. She earned a Masters degree in Communication Arts and in Social Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University. She took courses at the Child Development Center at the University of the Philippines, and in Basic Management and Development at the Asian Institute of Management.

She is married to the late Senator and Secretary Raul S. Roco, they have six children and four grandchildren.

Atty. Ramon Rodrigo

Atty. Ramon Rodrigo

Atty. Ramon Rodrigo is presently the City Prosecutor of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela, after his stint as Associate Commissioner of the PCGG. Prior to government service, he had been in private law practice as a Managing Partner of the Rodrigo Law Office.

Boogie graduated from the Ateneo de Manila Law School. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1973, and to the New York Bar in 1984. He also passed the New York Board exams for Financial Advisers in 1983.

He is an Officer and Member of the Rotary Club of Kamuning, and the Knights of Columbus, among others. He is the son of former Senator Francisco “Soc” Rodrigo and Remedios Rodrigo, and is married with five children and five grandchildren.

Mr. Ernesto B. Rufino, Jr. is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Health Maintenance, Inc. and Xyloid Management, Inc., Director of Philippine Electric Corp. and Travel Wide Associated Sales Phils., Inc., and CFO & Treasurer of First Philippine Holdings, Inc.

Ernest had been a Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) Awardee in 1981 for Excellence in Institutional Management, Business and Finance, and is a Member of the Management Association of the Philippines.

He earned his degrees in Bachelor of Arts and B.S.B.A. from the De La Salle University, cum laude, and was consistently on the Dean’s List. He was conferred his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree by the Harvard University. He is married with seven children.

Hector R. R. Villanueva

Mr. Hector R.R. Villanueva is knowledgeable in many areas of expertise, Economic lecturer at different colleges and universities. Former Dean, College of Economics & Politics at the Polytechnic University of the Phil-ippines (PUP) and former Member of the Board of Regents. Became Senior Economist, Department of Commerce & Industry in the mid-60s. First Director General of the Congressional Economic Planning Service, House of Representatives.

Seasoned media practitioner, writer/columnist in major dailies, including the Manila Bulletin, Board Chairman & Treasurer of Business Day Corp. Appointed Press Secretary, Malacañang Palace for three years, June 1995 and September 1992-1995 of Lakas-NUCD. Publisher & Editor-in-Chief of the Sun Star Manila.

Currently Postmaster General & CEO of the Philippine Postal Corporation. Mr. Villanueva’s abilities and integrity have allowed him to serve the government through several administra-tions.
